What is Sweetwater Farms? 

At Sweetwater Farms, we grow pumpkins, strawberries, and a type of nurturing for the soul. Here you will explore nature, engage with remarkable animals, enjoy physical activity and wellness, discover more about who you are and what you love, and embrace your natural instincts to extend love and kindness to others. How does it work? (hours and pricing)

Just come and visit us most any week, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 9:00am – 2:00 pm, Saturday 9:00am – 5:00pm, Sunday 10:00am – 5:00pm. Simply purchase tickets online or at the Sweetwater Cottage when you arrive. Follow the signs from the parking lot to the Cottage for check in. Children and adults over 2 years old are $6.00 each when purchased online and $7.00 each at the farm. Children under 2 years are free. We also offer season passes for families who would like to enjoy everything the farm has to offer for an entire season. Please visit our Plan a Visit page for more information.

Are you open to the public? 

Yes. We are open to the public during regular farm hours. Please see the How does it work? section above for hours and pricing.

When is the best time to visit the farm?

Any day is a great day on the farm! Our 2024 schedule runs February 28 through December 22, 2024

Can I make a reservation for a field trip, birthday party, or special event?

We have a party tent available and it is included in your price when you book a field trip, birthday party, or any other special occasion event. Please see our Farm Experiences page for more details and pricing. For additional information please feel free to call us.

Note: All birthday parties or special occasion events must be held during our regular business hours and a non-refundable deposit is required with the balance due at the time of the event.

Where are you located?

Sweetwater Farms is located at 14412 Beatties Ford Road, Huntersville, NC 28078. We are 1½ miles south of the intersection of Hwy 73 and Beatties Ford Road. We are centrally located to receive visitors from NC, SC, VA, and TN. Visit our Map & Directions page for more info.

Are you wheelchair accessible? 

Yes. The farm is wheelchair accessible with a path leading to all of our unique farm experiences. We invite and encourage all special needs groups to visit the farm to enjoy all of the wonderment it has to offer.
